WHAT NAMI PROVIDES:

Through peer led education, support and advocacy programs, NAMI is changing the way our community addresses mental health

— Monthly peer and family support groups

— Educational presentations on "Mental Health 101"

— "Let's Talk" for parents of children with mental health conditions

— Workplace presentations on boundaries and managing stress and anxiety

— Sharing hope for BIPOC (black,Indigenous, People of Color) communities, and many more presentations for the community

— Peer led education classes to talk about mental health, crisis management, treatment options, and advocacy.

— NAMI believes there is great strength in sharing. NAMI Central Texas volunteers and facilitators share their lived experiences to support others in groups and presentations in the community.

— NAMI is on a mission to provide safe spaces for individuals and loved ones to share their stories around mental health. We are here to listen to our community and arm them with important tools, strategies, and resources around topics that traditionally go unspoken.

If you or someone you know are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact 988 or the 24/7 mental health crisis line in your area.
